"never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble." - John Lewis
About Us..
SACAG was founded by Kristi King, she was on the UML Women's Lacrosse team. Kristi graduated last academic year in May of 2020! Her brilliant mind as well as a constant drive to ensure students of color, especially athletes had their voices heard, and we are lucky enough for her to pass her beautiful creation to us.
Students Athletes of Color Affinity Group is a program where UML student athletes of color can express themselves freely and be surrounded by their fellow athletes of color.
Main Goal:
> student athletes of color will have a support group, and be able to build relationships with members of their team and/or with other students athletes of color.
